Riyadh Air — fourteen LED‑volume worlds in 22 days.
How we built the environments behind Riyadh Air's safety film when the footage we needed didn't exist — and what aviation taught us about clouds.
Read the case studyNongravital is an Istanbul-based 3D and immersive studio, working worldwide since 2020. With leading agencies and brands we've animated campaigns for the Las Vegas Sphere, built worlds for LED-volume shoots and turned museum walls into stories — work that lives somewhere between the physical and the rendered.
Brands we have worked with include Togg, Le Coq Sportif, Booking.com, Bosch, NFL, Yeni Rakı, Lexus, Nike, Nickelodeon, SEGA, Warner Bros, Activision Blizzard, Crocs, Cheetos, NetherRealm, DeWalt, Xfinity, Riyadh Air and Galatasaray.

Three immersive rooms, built with historians over eight months — and rendered on a 40-GPU render farm we had to build ourselves.

Las Vegas Sphere work →Projection mapping, 360° shows and museum experiences. Designed for domes, heritage walls and the room you didn't expect.
Immersive rooms →Background environments for LED-volume stages, built to hold up in camera. Most recently: the background visuals for Riyadh Air's official safety film.
LED volume work →Concept, styleframes and look development that keep a world consistent — from the first sketch to a building-sized screen.
We build for the moment a frame meets a wall, a screen, a stadium — and the audience forgets which one it was.
Nongravital was founded in Istanbul in 2020. At its core are four people: three generalists who make the work with their own hands, and a producer who keeps it on time. When a project needs more, we bring in specialists from a trusted freelance network we've built over the years.
It grew out of personal films and title sequences — work that led to the first commissions, and eventually to the Las Vegas Sphere, LED-volume stages and museum halls.
We tend to take the jobs that look impossible — no footage to start from, no render farm that can handle it, no time, or a project that has already gone wrong somewhere else. When one of those lands, it feels like there's no gravity. That's the studio we wanted to build, and the name stuck.
We like to be part of the idea, not only the execution. Concept, look development, 3D, simulation, rendering and compositing all happen in-house — for agencies and brands from the US to Saudi Arabia, in English or Turkish.
When commercial render farms couldn't handle our scenes, we built one: 20 machines and 40 RTX 4090 GPUs, managed with Deadline. Large-format work runs on our schedule, not on someone else's queue.
